- Hmm, that reminds me of a interesting situation I had in a technical course
- at school quite a lot of years ago - we had a C64 with a relay-box connected
- to the user-port to sense and control and mechanical parts a robot.
- While this unit was still on power, I tried to switch off the computer,
- but it remained active! Only the display got a bit dim. Obviously the
- C64 drained 5V from the user-port, but, as I remember, old VIC's needed also
- 9V to work correctly.
